Glimpse of Wildlife at Kenya
Kenya is famous for its Wildlife, Landscape and the Masai tribes. All these three come together to form a perfect wildlife experience as you visit the famous Masai Mara National Reserve.
Game drives here are action-packed, keeping you captivated at every turn. Nairobi National Park offers a unique perspective on the coexistence of humans and animals and also provides a chance to spot the elusive rhino. Whereas we hope to finish the rest of the Iconic Big 5 sightings at Masai Mara. Meanwhile, Lake Naivasha offers an enchanting experience with its rich birdlife and a rare opportunity to walk alongside wildlife (walking safari).
Masai Mara, known for its density of animals, never disappoints a nature lover. Known as the mecca of wildlife, the grasslands of Masai Mara is home to an incredible diversity of animals and birds. The Savannahs create a magical setting during the game drives which are action packed and there can never be a dull moment. And as the sun dips below the horizon, a clear evening may unveil a breathtaking view of the Milky Way, adding an unforgettable touch of wonder to your safari experience.
During the game drives, you can also spot various birds like Rollers, Vultures, Storks, Starlings, Ostriches and mammals like Zebras, Giraffes, Wildebeests, Impalas, Cheetah, Hyena, Jackals, Elands, to name a few. While you drive across a river, you may spot Hippos and Crocodiles enjoying the cool water. Sunrises and sunsets in the Masai Mara paint postcard-perfect scenes, with the acacia trees standing gracefully against glowing skies.
It is an excellent opportunity for nature lovers to experience the joy of comfort camping amidst the African bushes. The camps are set in dense forest vegetation over the savannah and down the winding coils of the hippo-filled Mara and Talek river basin. It stands centre stage to one of Africa’s most action packed wildlife arenas with captivating and dramatic voices of the African bushes.

Note:
Wildlife sightings can never be guaranteed, as animals move freely in their natural habitats and each day in the wild is different. However, our tours are designed to significantly maximize your chances of exceptional sightings.
With carefully planned game drives, deep knowledge of animal behavior, expert local guides and drivers, and Nithin’s 17+ years of wildlife and photography experience, we put our best effort into tracking wildlife ethically and responsibly. This approach has consistently led to remarkable animal encounters across various national parks around the world.
While nature always has the final say, we can confidently assure you of a well-planned and immersive wildlife experience that goes far beyond just ticking species off a list.
Safari tours are entirely safe as long as you adhere to the guidelines and take proper precautions. During our tours, you’ll be accompanied by experienced guides, and it’s essential to follow their instructions. Always stay inside the vehicle unless given permission to exit, and keep a safe distance from the animals to avoid provoking them or making loud noises. By following these basic rules, you can ensure a safe and exciting safari experience.
Accommodation on an Off The Radar safari tours ranges from comfortable and immersive to premium and luxurious, depending on the destination and the type of experience you choose.
Here’s what you can typically expect:
Tented Camps: These can vary from basic yet comfortable setups to more refined tented experiences. Most feature en-suite bathrooms, private decks, and cozy interiors, offering a true wilderness feel without compromising on essentials.
Lodges: These are permanent structures often set in scenic, wildlife-rich areas. They offer private rooms or cottages, along with facilities like restaurants, lounges, and sometimes even pools. Ideal for those who want a balance between comfort and connection to nature.
Luxury & Boutique Camps/Lodges: For those seeking the finest safari experience, we offer high-end accommodations with added comforts — such as gourmet dining, spa services, and beautifully designed spaces that blend into the environment.
Regardless of the style, our accommodations are handpicked for their location, service, and authentic atmosphere, providing a welcoming and comfortable base from which to explore the wild.
If you have specific preferences or requirements, we’re happy to share detailed accommodation options for your tour. Just reach out to us — we’ll help match you with the right stay to suit your comfort and travel style.
Absolutely! We understand that dietary preferences and requirements are an important part of your travel experience. We can accommodate vegetarian, Jain, and vegan meal plans across most of our destinations.
To ensure your needs are met seamlessly, we kindly request that you inform us of your dietary preferences well in advance. This allows us to coordinate with lodges, camps, and local partners to make the necessary arrangements for your meals throughout the tour.
Whether you have cultural, religious, or health-based food preferences, we’ll do our best to ensure you’re well taken care of — without compromising on taste or nutrition.
At Off The Radar, we believe that the quality of a safari experience is greatly enhanced by the size of the group. That’s why we intentionally keep our groups small and intimate, typically between 8 to 12 participants.
Smaller group sizes allow our guides to provide personalized attention to each participant — whether it’s assisting with camera settings, spotting wildlife, or sharing in-depth insights about the landscape and animals. It also offers greater flexibility in the field, enabling the group to make spontaneous decisions based on sightings, light conditions, or individual interests.
Traveling in a close-knit group fosters a strong sense of camaraderie, often leading to lasting friendships among like-minded nature and photography enthusiasts. From a conservation perspective, smaller groups also help us minimize environmental impact and ensure that our presence doesn’t disrupt the natural behavior of wildlife. Overall, a smaller group ensures a more immersive, focused, and respectful experience — something we prioritize on every Off The Radar journey.
Yes, you will have access to mobile networks and Wi-Fi during your tour, particularly in urban areas, airports, and most lodges or camps. However, please note the following:
Within national parks and remote wilderness areas, mobile coverage may be limited or unreliable, and Wi-Fi may be slow or intermittent depending on the location and infrastructure. Most safari lodges and camps do offer basic Wi-Fi in common areas, but it’s best suited for light use like messaging and emails—not for video calls or streaming.
If staying connected is important to you, we recommend activating international roaming or purchasing a local SIM card upon arrival, which is often a more cost-effective solution for mobile data.
That said, we encourage our guests to embrace the opportunity to disconnect and immerse themselves fully in the natural experience. A little digital detox can go a long way in deepening your connection with the wilderness.
If consistent connectivity is critical for your travel (for work or emergencies), please let us know in advance so we can guide you on the best options available.

“As a solo traveler, I felt completely safe and welcomed in Copenhagen. The small group size meant I could ask questions and really connect with fellow travelers. The Copenhagen Card saved me so much money on attractions and transportation. I especially loved our visit to Louisiana Museum – it’s worth the short trip outside the city.”

“Beautiful city with amazing architecture! Our family enjoyed Tivoli Gardens and the canal cruise. The hotel breakfast was excellent. Only downside was the rainy weather, but our guide was flexible with the itinerary. Just be prepared for Copenhagen prices – even simple meals can be expensive if not included in the tour.”

“This was our third European city break and by far the best organized tour we’ve experienced. The balance of guided activities and free time was perfect. Highlight was definitely the food scene – from traditional Danish pastries to modern Nordic cuisine. The bicycle tour lets you see the city like a local. Highly recommend visiting in September when we went – fewer crowds but still lovely weather.”

“As architecture enthusiasts, we were blown away by Copenhagen’s blend of historic and cutting-edge design. The Opera House tour was a standout experience. Our guide had insider knowledge that you wouldn’t get from guidebooks. The hotel was centrally located and comfortable, though rooms were typical European size (compact). Would absolutely recommend this tour for anyone interested in design, food, or simply experiencing Danish hygge!”
